Vandalog recently published an article about a new project in which several street artists, collectively known as Wall Hunters, have teamed up with Baltimore Slumlord Watch to put up murals and other forms of street art to draw attention to the huge number of vacant houses in Baltimore. In addition, a documentary is being created with Nether and Carol Ott to examine these issues, and they are looking for donations from the public to complete the project. I definitely recommend checking out the project, and watching the video exploring the issue of Baltimore's excessive vacants.

It's been a super long time since the last post. Winter sucks away any desire to walk around looking for cool art on the street. If you get a chance in the next few weeks, definitely go check out street artist Gaia's exhibit at the BMA. It goes down on May 5, so you have a little less than a month to go check it out.

Street artist Xxist created this stereoscopic 3D mural in 2012. It's located in Station North on Charles Street.

This mural, which is located, give or take, around 26th and Howard, is by local artist Michael Owen, who is responsible for the Baltimore Love Project.
